Allan E. Iversen, 80

Allan E. Iversen, 80, of Herman, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in Herman.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at the Herman Community Church. Interment will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Allan E. "Bud" Iversen was born Dec. 24, 1929, in rural Herman to Theodore and Mabel (Johnson) Iversen. He attended and graduated from school in Herman.

He worked for the village of Herman, Clyde Fitch Heating and Plumbing, and owned and operated B & B Plumbing.

He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Blair, and was a member of the Herman Masonic Lodge for more than 44 years, and was a member of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Lila and Raymond Christensen and Carol Podjenski, both of Omaha; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vera Osmera and Phylis Fitch.

Memorials are suggested to the Herman Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
