Teresa L. Stevens, 53, of Blair, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m.Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Teresa L. Stevens was born March 24, 1960, in Little Rock, Ark., to Gerald and Linda (Nipper) Stevens.

When she was young, the family moved to Omaha. She attended and graduated from Ralston High School.

At the age of 10, she was baptized at Harrison Street Baptist Church in La Vista.

After high school, she attended college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla.

After moving back to Omaha, she was employed with First Data in the fraud department until she became disabled in 2005.

She enjoyed crocheting, and loved sharing her work with others as gifts.

She will always be remembered as having a contagious laugh and was always joyful and smiling no matter the situation. She was a devoted Christian and a lifelong student of the Bible.

She is survived by her son, David Stevens; parents Gerald and Linda Stevens of Arkansas; brother Ron (Susan) Stevens; sister Tina (Mark) Stoll of Omaha; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by infant son Benjamin Stevens.
