AGNES ROSENBAUM DIED AT AGE OF 88

Services for 88 year old Agnes Rosenbaum were held Monday afternoon, January 23, 1978. Mrs. Rosenbaum died on Saturday, January 21, at the Blair Hospital.

Services were at the Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard with Rev. John Fitzmeier and Rev. Henry Stotz officiating. Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with burial in the Kennard Cemetery.

Mrs. Rosenbaum is survived by two daughters, one daughter-in-law, 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The daughters are Mrs. Ivan (Enid) Andersen of Kennard and Mrs. Joe (Jane) Stewart of Kennard. The daughter-in-law is Mrs. Harlan Christensen. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Mrs. Rosenbaum was born on October 25, 1889 at Kennard, Nebraska to William C. and Mary Jane Bates. She married Jop (correction: Jap) Rosenbaum, November 29, 1911 at Kennard. They lived in or near Kennard all their married lives. She had been a housewife most of her life and was a resident of the Good Shepherd Home in Blair for the past two years.

She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church; Royal Neighbor Lodge; and a Charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Kennard.

She was preceded in death by her husband (1966) and one son, Melvin (1957).

Pallbearers were Joe Stewart, Bill Rosenbaum, Scott Andersen, Ronald Andreasen, Vernon Arp and Vernon Wulf.
