Mrs. Lars Petersen died down at Washington Monday afternoon and the funeral will be held at the church in Washington at 1:30 tomorrow, Thursday. She fell over unconscious Sunday night and died about 1:30 Monday afternoon. Bright’s disease and heart trouble was the cause of her death. She was born in Denmark Oct. 22nd, 1851, and was therefore just past 65 years of age. She was married in Denmark and leaves seven children, Nels, Chris, Otto, Fred, Christina, Anna and Emma.

Mrs. Lars Petersen died at her home Monday evening about 5:30 o’clock, after a short sickness. She was in usual health Sunday and entertained some friends Sunday evening. About 10 o’clock she became ill and passed into unconsciousness from which she did not recover. Brights disease being the cause of her death. She was born in Denmark in 1851. She leaves to mourn her loss, the husband and seven children, namely: Chris, Otto, Fred, Nels, Anna, Christine and Emma. All were present at the funeral except Otto, who was detained on account of ill health. The funeral was held at the church Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Interment was made in the Danish cemetery just north of (rest not on the card)
