Services To Be Tuesday For Edna Marie Peterson

Funeral Services for Edna Marie Peterson, who died Saturday, June 14, 1980, at the age of 91, are Tuesday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Rev, Morland Adell will conduct the services. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Waverly, Nebraska, at 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Edna Marie Peterson was born in Oland, Sweden, on March 25, 1889, to the John Sormans. She came to this country and worked in New York with some cousins before coming on west to Ceresco, Nebraska, where her brother had homesteaded.

She married Andrew Peterson at Ceresco. They lived at Ceresco and Lincoln all their married life. After the death of her husband in November, 1969, she moved to Blair and resided at Crowell Home at the time of her death.

Four children and two brothers, in addition to her husband and parents, preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Roy K. Peterson, and his wife, Lorraine of Blair; four grand-children; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Gust Sorman of Omaha; nieces and nephews.

Clare Cowing is organist for the services. Susan Rodgers will provide the vocal music.

Pallbearers are Bryon Peterson, Bruce Peterson, Melvin Peterson, and Edwin Peterson.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
