Frances L. Peterson, age 76, of Tekamah, passed away on Thursday evening, Nov. 3rd, 1988 at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Nebraska after an extended illness.

Frances was born on Aug. 30th, 1912 at Tekamah to Frank and Bessie (Green) Lundstrom.

She was united in marriage to Duane K. Peterson on June 2nd, 1938 at Tekamah. In previous years Frances worked as Bookkeeper at the drugstore operated by her husband. Frances lived her entire life in the Tekamah community, having been Past President of Chapter DC, P.E.O. and an active member of several Book clubs in Tekamah. A long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah, she was active in Women’s Circle and the choir for over 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Duane K. Peterson of Tekamah; one son, Keith Peterson of Little Rock, Arkansas and one daughter, Janet Watson of Columbia, Missouri; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers: Louis Ludstrom of Morrison, Colorado and a host of friends.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah with Rev. Thomas E. Robson officiating. Interment will be in the Tekamah Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.
