MRS. PETERSON PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Paul Peterson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belknap in this city on last Sunday morning after a long illness.

Deceased was born in Germany Aug. 4, 1853 and came with her parents to Iowa, when about a year old and in which place she still has two brothers and two sisters living.

She was married to Paul Peterson and came to Nebraska where they settled on a farm in the northern part of the county where they resided until her husband’s death a number of years back.

To this union twelve children were born, all of whom are living and all with the exception of Sophia, who is in Valdes, Alaska, were present at the funeral.

Mrs. Peterson has been a patient sufferer for some time and during that time has had every attention that could be bestowed on her by thoughtful loving relatives.

The funeral services were held yesterday at the Belknap home, Rev. Foreman of the Baptist Church officiating and interment was made in the German cemetery in southern Richland township where her husband is buried.
