MOTHER OF MRS. FRED SOLL PASSES AWAY AT SCRIBNER

Mrs. Catherine Boll, mother of Mrs. Fred Soll of this city, died on December 10, at her home in Scribner after an acute illness of only one day, aged 83 years, 8 months and one day.

Mrs. Boll was born in Klein, Koenigsfoerde, Holstein, Germany, April 9, 1838, and came to Fremont, Nebraska, with her family in 1871, and had since lived in the vicinity of Scribner.

Mrs. Boll had visited in Blair many times and during the fall made an extended visit to her daughter, Mrs. Fred Soll, and was in unusually good health for one of her years. Mr. and Mrs. Soll took her to Fremont on Thanksgiving Day where she visited relatives for awhile before going to Scribner. Her sudden death was a shock to her children and friends. The funeral was held on Tuesday following her demise and burial was made in the family lot at Scribner.

Surviving her are her sons, Hans F., Henry, James, Edward of Scribner; Christ of Pierce; and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Hansen of Fremont, and Mrs. Emma Soll of Blair. There is also one brother, W. A. A. Hamann, in Germany, and twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
