Mrs. John J. Bailey died at her home on East Lincoln street Monday at 10 o’clock. Mrs. Bailey was born in St. Louis, March 12, 1842. She came to Nebraska many years ago. The deceased leaves four children and her husband to mourn her loss. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the Baptist church, Rev. F. E. Volck officiating. The remains were interred in the Blair cemetery.

Mrs. John Bailey, for a number of years a resident of Blair, passed away last Monday morning at the family home in this city, after many years of constant ill health. She was 72 years of age and leaves a husband and four grown children to mourn her death. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Wednesday, Rev. Volck conducting the service, and the remains interred in the Blair cemetery.
