Funeral services for Marylyn R. Ruff, 69, of Lincoln, were held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the Lincoln Memorial Home. Mrs. Ruff died Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Marylyn Rebecca Ruff was born July 29, 1934, in Nebraska City to Arnold and Nelvia (Jimmerson) Phillips.

She was a graduate of Nebraska City High School, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and the Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., earning a nursing degree and a master’s degree in human development and the family and Nursing. She was formerly an educator at the Bryan School of Nursing in Lincoln.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Ginger Ruff of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Sue and Dale Korus of Arlington; seven grandchildren; her mother, Nelvia Phillips of Lincoln; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Lois Phillips of Tucson, Ariz.; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Irvin Heng of Lincoln and Louise and Charles Morgan of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; and a sister, Donna Ruff.
