Erma Elizabeth Miller Rushmann was born August 8, 1910 at Herman, Nebraska to Frank H. and Marie (Schroeder) Miller. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at an early age.
On July 7, 1934 she was married to Christian A. Ruschmann at St. Joseph, Missouri. They lived around Elkhorn for many years, and later moved to Ohio.
She died July 11, 1985 at Lucasville, Ohio in a nursing home.
Erma is survived by two sons, Duane L. Ruschmann of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Larry D. Ruschmann of Champaign, Illinois, three grandchildren; and two brothers, Orville F. Miller of Benton, Arkansas and Earl W. Miller of Omaha, Nebraska. She has several cousins living in the local area.
Services were held Monday, July 15th at Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha, with burial following at the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.
