Geraldine J. “Jeri” Russell, 40, Arlington, died April 10, 2001, at home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. April 14 at the Arlington City Auditorium with the Rev. Lynn Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 13 at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the auditorium.

Geraldine J. Russell was born April 17, 1960, in Kimball. She lived at St. Joseph, Mo., until the age of 11, when she moved with her family to Valley. She was a 1978 graduate of Valley High School.

On Nov. 27, 1976, she married Greg Russell in Valley. Following her marriage, she lived in Arlington.

She was employed at the former House Lumber Company in Arlington and at Fremont for several years, and then managed Builders Surplus in Arlington. She was a sales representative for Ashton Wholesale Services Inc. of Nebraska in Omaha for 12 years.

She was a member of the Arlington Community Church and the Fremont Women’s Bowling Association.

She is survived by her husband Greg, and her daughter, Sabrina Russell of Arlington; parents, Delbert and Jean Ten Eyck of Valley; brothers Delbert Ten Eyck of Elk City and Duane Ten Eyck of Elkhorn; sister and brothers-in-law, Debra and Gene Cahoy, and Susan Stahlecker, all of Fremont; and Pam and Leon Putnam of Loveland, Colo.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Alta Russell of Arlington; and grandmother-in-law, Kay Copper of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Josh and Jeremy, and her grandparents.

Memorials are suggested to the Arlington Community Church Building Fund.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
