Services For Melvin McCord Held August 5th

Services are scheduled for Thursday, August 5th, for Melvin F. McCord in Dunlap, Iowa. Mr. McCord, of 204 So. Hazel, Glenwood, Iowa died on Monday, August 2nd.

Mr. McCord, age 79 years, is survived by his wife Adah, 3 sons and five daughters. The sons are Bernad, of Glenwood, Iowa; Oscar of Council Bluffs; Raymond of Houston, Texas.

Daughters are Mrs. Wayne (Jean) Johnson of McAllister, Oklahoma; Mrs. Warren (Mina) Usher of Glenwood, Iowa; Wanda Jones, Blair, Nebraska; Mrs. Lyle (Shirley) Allen of Glenwood, Iowa; Mrs. Jack (Beverly) Budd, Omaha.

Thirty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mr. McCord was preceded in death by a son George and a daughter Ruth.

Services will be Thursday, August 5th at 2:30 p.m. in the Dunlap Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Dunlap Cemetery with the White Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
