Tribune 4 March 1914

Mrs. Nancy McCormick died at the Blair hospital Sunday morning, March 1, 1914. She had been at the hospital about two years and had been quite feeble. On the morning of February 18th she fell down stairs and broke her arm, and it is thought the shock caused her death. She was born in Ohio, May 14, 1834, and was nearly 80 years old at the time of her death. She leaves one son, Clarence, of Blair, and one daughter, Mrs. Laura Tietsort, of Scottsbluff. The body was taken to the home of her son, Clarence, Monday and the funeral held from the Christian church at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday, Rev. Charles Ewers conducting the last sad rites.
