Lila May Russell, 74, of rural Corning, Iowa, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha after a short battle with cancer.

Funeral services were Thursday, July 20, at Sellergren-Lindel-DeMarce Funeral Home in Red Oak, Iowa, with interment in the Mamre Cemetery in Stanton, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Russell; daughter, Lynn Russell of Corning; two sons and daughters-in-law, Miles and Teresa Russell and Alan and Beth Russell, both of Red Oak; four grandchildren; father, Lyle Sederburg of Stanton, who passed away 23 hours after her death; a sister and brother-in-law, Hilma and Richard Downing of Sioux Falls, S. D.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harold Sederburg of Stanton and Dick and Jan Sederberg of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Sederburg.
