Miss McCullough Died Thursday

Funeral services will be held at O’Neil, Nebr., today (Monday for Miss Elja McCullough, who died Thursday at an Omaha hospital.

The services will be held at 2 p.m. from the Presbyterian Church with interment in Ewing, Nebr. Services were also held Saturday at the Crosby-Kunold Mortuary in Omaha, Dr. C. C. Madsen officiating.

Miss McCullough, better known among her students at Dana College as Miss Mac, was 75 years of age. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Bromwell, of Omaha; and a niece, Mrs. Daniel Luken, of Omaha.

Miss McCullough was a member of the Dana College Educational department for the past 16 years. She taught in rural, city and colleges for 56 years, prior to her retirement this spring, Miss McCullough was one of two former Dana faculty members who were to be honored at the 1966 Dana College Homecoming.

Besides teaching, Miss McCullough gained fame for the promotion of educational tours during the summer months. She headed several tours to different areas of the United States and to foreign countries.
