Vivian Ryan, 88, of Blair, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at Crowell Memorial Home.

Services were Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, who was in charge of arrangements.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Vivian Kuhr was born April 16, 1910, at Kennard to William and Alvina (Wulf) Kuhr. She attended school in Kennard.

On June 18, 1930, she married James W. Ryan.

They farmed west of Kennard until 1947 when they moved to Omaha.

She lived in Omaha until September 1996 when she moved to Crowell Home.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Laurel Ryan of Sioux Fall, S.D., and Donald and Audrey of Gretna; one granddaughter, three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; a son, Roger; one sister, Edith George; one brother, Clarence Kuhr; and grandson, Jimmy.
