A memorial service for Beverly Maxine Klotz Limbeck, 67 who died February 4, 1992, at sea will be held Friday, March 27 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Beverly Limbeck was born June 11, 1924, at Kennard to Max and Margaret Wrich Klotz. She was raised on a farm near Kennard and graduated from Blair High School in 1941.

She attended Methodist Hospital’s School of Nursing and graduated in 1945. She then worked at Methodist Hospital from 1945-48.

She was active in church, Sunday School and ladies groups. She was also active in county medical auxiliary groups and in the American Lung Association. She helped in getting ant-smoking laws passed for clean air in office buildings, hospitals and airplanes.

She married Dr. D. A. Limbeck in 1949 and later spent some time in Japan. They moved to Minneapolis in 1951.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. D. A. Limbeck of Minneapolis; six children, Kay Bregal and Margo Limbeck of Rodgers, Minnesota; Barbara Lenz of Lewis, Wisconsin; Pamela Adams of Seattle, Washington; Marc Limbeck and Zachary Limbeck of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Michelle and Max Lenz and Katherine, Ann and Cassondra Limbeck; a brother, Merritt Klotz, and a sister, Phyllis (Mrs. Warrren) Nielsen of Kennard and an aunt, Alma Japp of Blair.

A special “Beverly M. Klotz Limbeck Memorial Fund” is being started at Methodist Hospital in Omaha to provide aid or loans to needy students. Memorials may be made directly to the nursing school office after April 1, 1992.
