Services will be Wednesday, November 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church in Omaha for George Rybin, Sr., 90 who died at his home October 31, 1991. The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 5 at Dworaks Vinton St. Chapel in Omaha. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

George R. Rybin Sr., was born February 14, 1901 in Omaha to James and Emma Upah Rybin. He was a veteran of World War I. He founded Omaha Gas Appliance in 1946. It was later changed to Rybin Plumbing & Heating.

Among those preceding him in death was his grandson, Jimmy.

He is survived by his wife, Mona; a son and daughter-in-law, George (Ray) and Norma Rybin; daughters, Rosemary Laasek and Catherine Dobbertin; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Rybin; step-children and spouses, John and Shirley Overton, Omaha and Nancy and r. Thomas Clavert, Lincoln; 14 grandchildren, including Jeff Rybin of Blair and George Rybin of Omaha; 14 great-grandchildren and other relatives, including Frank Rybin of Omaha.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman Dworak-Cutler Vinton St. Chapel in Omaha is in charge of arrangements for services.
