Clyde McDonald Died At Hospital Monday, Febr. 4

Clyde E. McDonald, a lifetime resident of Washington County, died at Memorial Community Hospital last Monday, February 4th. He was 79 years of age, having been born at Blair, September 2, 1894. He lived at 1351 Park street.

Mr. McDonald, who was retired, was, for many years, an appliance salesman working with Major Appliance Co. in Omaha.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, by a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Root, of Oakland, California, and by a grandson and four great grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers, Delmar McDonald of Papillion, Nebr., and Russell of Denver, Colorado. He has four sisters. They are Mrs. Pearl Rood, of Wyoming, Mrs. William Grabe, of Omaha, Mrs. Lorenz Miller, of Blair and Mrs. Clarence Olson, Sr., of Tekamah.

Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist Church tomorrow (Friday) with the Rev. Gordon Patterson conducting the service. Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Olson, Carroll Olson, Clarence Olson, Jr., Raymond Olson, Ronald Olson and Gifford Grabe.
