Brandon Lee Schulkey

Brandon Lee Schulkey, 3 ½ months, of North Platte, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at First Christian Church in North Platte. The Rev. Steve Jergensen and Eric Meisner will officiate. Interment will be at the North Platte Cemetery.

Brandon Lee Schulkey was born Aug. 10, 2000, in Blair to Jennifer A. Baker and Ryan D. Schulkey, both formerly of Kennard. Brandon moved to North Platte with his parents on Oct. 7. He was always laughing and smiling, and was a wonderful baby who won the hearts of everyone he met. He loved to be cuddled and loved.

Survivors include his parents, of North Platte; grandparents, Jeff Baker and Karen Kepler, and Patti Baker, all of North Platte, Frank and Debbie Schulkey of Kennard, and Roger and Margaret Middleton of Gordon, KY; great-grandparents, Earl and Jan Baker of North Platte, Ardith Morse of Chadron, Betty Neet of Kennard, Jerry and Marie Schulkey of Elkhorn; five uncles, Jason and Chris Baker of North Platte, and two special friends, Michael Kepler-Steele and Seth Pell, and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by two great-grandfathers, Archie Neet and Jim Bouws; great-great-grandparents, Ralph and Frances Jensen, Earl and Edna Baker, and Art Navis; and a cousin, Zachary Bouws.

A memorial has been established in his memory.

Adams and Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte is in charge of arrangements.
