Frieda Schultz, 90

Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beemer for Frieda Schulz, 90, of Beemer, who died June 27, 1994 at St. Frances Memorial Hospital in West Point, Nebraska. Rev. Paul Krentz is officiating with burial in the Beemer Cemetery.

Frieda Schultz was born March 9, 1904 near West Point to Frederich Wilhelm and Helene Peters Daberkow. She was baptized at home and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Beemer.

She attended the Immanuel Lutheran Parochial School and then attended Cuming County District School No. 26.

She married Arlie Schultz January 20, 1927 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Beemer. The couple farmed north of Beemer after their marriage until 1947 and then continued farming south of Wisner until 1971. She had resided in Beemer since 1971.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beemer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband July 16, 1989; one grandson, four sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include daughter and husband, Mrs. Lorene and Bruno Batenhorst of Blair; son and wife, Vernon and Lois Schultz of Wisner, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great –grandchild; brothers and spouses, Ernst and Alma Daberkow of Flagler, Colorado; Victor and Mary Daberkow of Beaumont, Texas; Robert Daberkow of Bancroft, Nebraska; Harvey and Ada Daberkow of Corvallis, Oregon and Arnold and Mildred Daberkow of West Point, Nebraska.

Pallbearers are Boyd Batenhorst, Bryan Batenhorst, Dennnis Schultz, Bruce Schultz, Gregg Lambrecht and Randall Ashland.

Kuzelka Funeral Home in Beemer is in charge of arrangements.
