Pauline Peterson To Be Buried

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Peterson, 92, or rural Herman, who died Sunday, February 8, 1981, at Memorial Hospital in Fremont will be Wednesday, February 11, at Salem Lutheran Church, Fontanelle, at 2 p.m. Rev. Leo R. Nielsen from Fremont will conduct the services, burial will be in Vacoma Cemetery, eleven miles north of Arlington.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday at Reckmeyer Funeral Home in Arlington.

Pauline Peterson was born October 23, 1888, in the Telbasta area to William and Fredricka Busse Gosker. She was married March 8, 1911, to Fred F. Peterson in her parents’ home. She lived her entire life in the Telbasta area and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, who died April 27, 1970. Her parents and one son, Ervin Petersen, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons, Merle P. Peterson of Livonia, Michigan, Robert Peterson, Blair; and Howard F. Peterson and Duane Peterson, both of Herman. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive her.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
