Roy Peterson To Be Buried On Wednesday

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church for Roy Peterson who died March 15, 1981, at University Hospital in Omaha.

Rev. Robert Backhus will conduct the services. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Roy Peterson was born October 28, 1924, in Omaha. His parents were Andrew E. and Edna Marie Sorman Peterson.

He married Lorraine Giesselman in Arlington on June 26, 1949. He owned the laundromat at 19th and Front Street in Blair and also owned and operated Peterson’s Floor Service in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Blair; one daughter, Mrs. Mike (Barbara) Skillman, Denton, Nebraska; and three sons, Byron Peterson, Blair; Bruce Peterson, Omaha; and Kevin Peterson of Blair. One sister, Doris Ewing of North Platte; one brother, George Swanberg of Omaha; and six grandchildren also survive him.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
