Services For Robert Peterson Held Monday
Services for 67 year old Robert W. Peterson, 2256 Nebraska St., were held Monday, September 25, at 10:30 a.m. from the United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon Patterson officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Loraine, two brothers, Jalan of Mar Vista, California and Douglas of Kennard; 2 sisters: Mrs. Joyce Petersen of Omaha and Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Mester of Ft. Calhoun. Nieces and nephews and many friends.
Robert was born on a farm south of Ft. Calhoun on May 8, 1911 to Albert and Sadia Peterson. He attended the Slader rural school and graduated from Ft. Calhoun high school in 1930.
He was a Boy Scout Member and served in the US Army 150th Infantry from 1943-46. He was married to Loraine Tucker on June 13, 1940. They resided in Omaha then made their home in Blair since 1948. He retired from the Kenworth Sales and service in 1975.
Pallbearers were Tom Tucker, Carl Mackie, John Peterson, Wm. Peterson, Duane Finch and Nis Momsen.
Services were handled by the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair.
Memorials are to be directed to the Heart Fund.
