Mary Schumacher, 70

Services were Tuesday, May 30 at the Congregational Church in Blair for Mary Schumacher, 70 who died May 28, 1989 at Memorial Community Hospital I Blair. Rev. Debra Thompsett-Welch officiated. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Mary Schumacher was born in Blair Nov. 2, 1918 to Ernest and Margaret Edwards Epperly. She married Christian L. Schumacher.

He preceded her in death in 1971.

She owned and operated Mary’s Restaurant in Kennard for several years. She also cooked at the Blue Ribbon in Blair for many years.

She was a member of the Blair Eagles Auxiliary.

In addition to being preceded in death by her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Trisdale of Blair; a grandson, Terry Wrich and granddaughters, Cindy Buford, Julie Snow and Mary Lou Satterfield. Great-grandchildren, Lisa Wrich, Karen and Linda Buford, Kevin and Andrew Snow and Chris, Charlie, Mary and Miranda Satterfield; and a sister, Edith Nelson also survive her.

Pallbearers were George Pelnar, Elmer Schmidt, Jim Satterfield, Dick Svendgard and Ray Satterfield.

Cheryl Baron was organist.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
