EWALD DUNKLAU, 77

Funeral Services for Ewald Dunklau, 77, of Arlington, who died Thursday, August 21, 1986, at Dodge County Memorial Hospital in Fremont, were held Monday, August 25, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington. Rev. Dennis Maaske officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Dunklau was born January 15, 1909, in the rural Arlington area. He was raised and farmed in and around Arlington all of his life.

He married Marie Laaker on August 30, 1933, at St. Paul’s Church.

Dunklau was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a charter member of Lutheran Laymen’s League. He was also a member and past treasurer of the Arlington Community Club.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Marian) Lottman of Fremont; Mrs. Charles (Gorgene) Iske of Dodge; and Mrs. Larry (Linda) Shepard of Fremont; three brothers, Martin of Omaha; Harold of Kansas City, Missouri; and Rupert of Fremont; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Harrie and Mrs. Richard (Ada) Seidler), both of Omaha; and 11 grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the church or the Lutheran Hour.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
