Services are 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27 at the Fremont Berean Church for Mary A. Carritt, 71 of Fremont who died Dec. 22, 1996 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. Pastor Steve Watson will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Little Sioux Cemetery in Little Sioux, Iowa.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home.

Mary Arlene Carritt was born Aug. 5, 1925 in Blencoe, Iowa to Howard and Fern Stanton Perkins.

She married Harold Carritt in Blair Aug. 14, 1943. They had lived in Iowa, Blair, Mead, Wahoo, and Fremont for the last 12 years, except for a time in Tallahassee, Fla.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Fremont; three sons, Fred J. Carritt of Blair; Bernie Carritt of Wahoo and Steve Carritt of Milford; four daughters, Roxanne Rodriquez of San Benito, Tex.; Dee Ann Konecky of Mead; Sue Ann Cich of Blair and Lori Ann Kohn of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Fremont Berean Church.
