October 30, 1959-September 7, 2011; 51, Murray, NE. Born and raised in Blair, NE., cherished wife, Lisa A. Carroll yielded to her 2 ½ battle with brain cancer peacefully at home.

She is preceded in death by father, R. J. “Pete” DesRosiers; and brother, Daniel. Survived by husband, Edward; and children, Mike, Lori and Kathie; siblings, Michele, Gisele, Barbara, Louis and Theresa; mother, Shirley, “Grandma Lisa” was moved by her two grandsons; 6 nieces and nephews; along with extended family and dear friends.

Lisa was employed by Mutual of Omaha; worked as an office manager for Creighton University Paramedic Training Office; and also worked as a sales clerk at Audrey’s Gift Shop. She was a member of the Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Plattsmouth, NE.

Visitation-Monday 6-8pm at Crosby Colonial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30am at St. Johns Vianney Catholic Church, 5801 Oak Hills Drive. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, 2300 S. 78th, Omaha. Memorials to Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
