Mr. Lloyd Carson died at the Blair Hospital on August 16th. He was born July 27, 1905 near Decatur, the eldest of 12 children.

On June 12, 1936 he married Marge Gates of Tekamah and they farmed in Burt County until seven years ago. He and Mrs. Carson then operated the Herman Café. He is a member of the United Methodist Church in Craig.

Survivors besides his wife, Marge are three sons, Ronald of Tekamah; Dale of Lima, Ohio; and Merle of Craig; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Hull of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, Mrs. Carol Brummond of Herman and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah on Monday, August 18th. Interment was in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jerry Method, Walter Kruse, Gerald Weeces, George Green, Dean Petersen, and Gene Boroff. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Hancock, Kenneth Nelson, Bill Cameron, Floyd Sheets, Jack Cameron and Gale Peterson.
