Services are Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Omaha for Mary Alice Carson, 65 of Arlington who died July 31, 1992 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha.

Mary Alice Carson was born in Verdon, Nebraska to George and Hazel Goolsby McKinsey. She married Stewart Carson in Omaha June 19, 1949. He survives.

She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Bobbi Carson of Nickerson; a son, Todd Carson of Arlington and his fiancé, Diane Synowicki of Omaha; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jim Miller of Ord, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Sandy Carson, Callie Carson, Jordon Miller and Mackenzie Miller; six brothers, Roland McKinsey, Raymond McKinsey, George McKinsey, Jr., Dean McKinsey and Bill McKinsey, all of Verdon and Charles McKinsey of Branson, Missouri; and a sister, Betty Spitser of Pawnee City, Nebraska.

Memorials may be made to the Arlington Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Woman’s Auxiliary.

John A. Gentleman Chapel in Omaha is in charge of arrangements.
