Harry Jahnel, 94, of Fremont died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at Merrick Manor in Fremont. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Harry Jahnel was born February 14, 1905, in Kennard to Fritz and Mary (Schmidt) Jahnel. He attended Sunnyside School and farmed in the Kennard, Tekamah, and Oakland areas. He married Francis Fowler.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Jahnel of Blair; brother and sister-in-law, Walt and Ruth Jahnel of Tekamah; sister, Hazel Christiansen of Kennard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother, Ray.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Note: Harry is buried in Section L, Block 26C, Grave 7 of the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
