Sylvia Ann, 9 mo. Carter
Died on 3/17/1913
Buried in Blair Cemetery

Published in the Tribune March 19, 1913

Little Sylvia Ann Carter, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dine Carter, Jr., died on Sunday evening, aged nine months.

The baby had an acute cold which settled in the head and affected the brain which caused her death.

Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 conducted by Rev. H. S. Lytle of the Later Day Saints Church and the little form laid to rest in the Blair Cemetery.

Everybody loves a baby so the sympathy of everyone goes out to those sorrowing parents. What a consolation it is to feel certain that “baby” is safe and happy, but oh how desolate the home from which the little one is taken, who had lived long enough to entwine her little life around the hearts of the parents and relatives and while she will always be “baby” to them she is known in heaven by another name.
