Funeral Is On Wednesday For Julius Siercks

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September, 30, at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont for Julius G. Siercks, Jr., 92, of Fremont who died following a one week illness on Monday, September 28, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont.

Julius G. Siercks, Jr., was born to Julius G. and Magdalene Siercks on January 7, 1889 in Germany. He came to the Arlington area when he was 13 from Germany. He had lived in Fremont since 1937.

He married Rose K. Plugge on February 24, 1916. She survives.

He was still employed as a maintenance engineer at the First National Bank Building in Fremont at the time of his death. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #200 in Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward F. (Lucille S.) Dolan of Fullerton, California; and two sons, LaVerne G. Siercks, Borrego Springs, California; and Sterling J. Siercks, Fremont. One sister, Mrs. Erna Parade, Fremont; three brothers, Leo Siercks, Fremont; Otto Siercks, Long Beach, California; and George Siercks, Hemet, California; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren also survive him.

A memorial has been established for Salem Lutheran Church.

Bader Rozanek Funeral Chapel, Fremont is in charge of arrangements for the service.
