Mrs. Johanna Oberbrinkman Dunklau was born in Germany 1846, she was married in 1867 settling north of Arlington with her husband on a homestead which is 6 miles north of Arlington where she has resided until called by death. She died Wednesday at the age of 78 years and has been confined to her bed for the past few years. Surviving are her husband, who was ninety years of age the 17th of August and the following children, Henry of Fresno, Calif.; Eve, August and Rudolph, Mrs. F. W. Kruger, all of Arlington; Mrs. Daniel Druds (smudged print) of Freeman, Minn.; and Johanna at home.

DUNKLAU FUNERAL HELD AT BROWN CREEK CHURCH SUNDAY

The funeral of Mrs. Z. D. Dunklau, a pioneer resident six miles north of Arlington, was held at the Brown Creek church last Sunday afternoon and was attended by a large circle of friends and neighbors. Mrs. Dunklau was 78 years old and had been ill since Christmas.

Mrs. Johanna Oberbrinkman Dunklau was born in Germany in 1846 and was married in 1867 and came to this country in 1869, settling north of Arlington with her husband on a homestead. They have lived on the same place ever since.

She was a member of the Brown Creek church and was prominent in all activities of her neighborhood. She had many friends who mourn her demise with the family.

Surviving are her husband, who was ninety years of age the seventeenth of August, and the following children: Henry of Fresno, Calif., Eve, August, Rudolph, Mrs. F. W. Kruger, all of Arlington vicinity; Mrs. Daniel Drude, Freeman, Minn.; Johanna at home.
