TILLIE M. DUNN DIED AT HOSPITAL THURSDAY, APRIL 27

Mrs. Matilda M. Dunn, known to her friends as “Tillie” Dunn, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair last Thursday, April 27th. She was 57 years old.

Mrs. Dunn, who lived at 1404 Colfax Street, was a native of Blair, having been born here August 20th, 1914. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Eliassen, both deceased. Mr. Eliassen will be remembered by older residents as a one-time painter and decorator here.

Mrs. Dunn’s husband preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Merton (Sylvia) Olson of Fremont, and Mrs. Terry (Jackie) Daniels of Blair.

She also is survived by three brothers and two sisters. The brothers are Charles M. Eliassen, of Los Angeles; Francis M. Eliassen of Belle, California; and James M. Eliassen of Orange, California. The sisters are Mrs. John Anderson (Dorothy) of Fremont and Mrs. Barton Mills (Bea) also of Fremont.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 29th, at the Campbell Mortuary with the Rev. Ray Phelps conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery. The pallbearers were John Gilman, Melvin Ratfield, Lloyd Brown, Gerald Brown, Bill Brown and Tink Dyer.
