Frieda Schutt, 90

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 502- Grand in Omaha for Frieda Schutt, 90 who died November 5, 1994 in Kiel, Germany.

Frieda Dohrendorf Schutt was born February 23, 1904 in Butzow/Mecklenburg, Germany to Friedrich and Auguste Kowalski Dohrendorf.

She worked as a military uniform dressmaker. During the war she helped with the distribution of ration cards and after the war she was a controller in a department store.

She married Adolf Schutt February 23, 1924. He preceded her in death May 17, 1954 in Kiel.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ingrid and Henry Schmidt of Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, Ingrid and Henry Schmidt of Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, Wolfgand and Jutta Schutt of Hamburg, Germany; five grandchildren, Bonnie and her husband, Shawn Carroll and Ronald and his wife, Kathy Schmidt, all of Omaha, and Ove Schutt, Wolfgand Schutt and Petra Schutt, all of Hamburg and 10 great-grandchildren, including Ryan Carroll, Reghan Carroll, Riley Carroll, Rachel Carroll, Lisa Schmidt and Jeff Schmidt.
