Father of Mrs. Harold Rabbass Died Here Monday

William Frederick Schwinck, father of Mrs. Harold Rabbass of Blair, died Monday, December 15th at the Good Shepherd Home where he has been a resident. Mr. Schwinck was 79 years old.

He was born at West Point, Nebraska, May 12, 1890 and had spent his entire life there. For many years he was in the John Deere farm implement business, retiring from that about 15 years ago.

Nearly two years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Schwinck came to Blair to make their home with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Rabbass. In June of 1969 they moved to the Good Shepherd Home and Mrs. Schwinck died on July 21st.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Cornelia Rabbass and by a son, Willard Schwinck, of Altadena, California. There are four grand-children and two great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Henry and Otto Schwinck reside at West Point and a sister, Mrs. Adela Kuester also lives there.

Funeral services were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church today (Thursday) with the Rev. Frederick Neider conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Blair Cemetery.
