Rites Saturday For Ida Isabelle Pettit

Ida Isabelle Pettit of Kennard passed away on Thursday morning, January 16, at the age of 91 years. Mrs. Pettit passes away at the McBride Nursing Home in Blair.

Mrs. Pettit was born in Washington County Virginia. She was married to Sylvester Pettit who preceded her in death.

Services will be held Saturday, January 18 at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair at 2:P.M. Interment will be in the Kennard, Nebraska Cemetery. Reverend Samuel Hemphill, of Arlington, will officiate. Music will be provided by Mrs. Joyce Sutton.

Mrs. Pettit is survived by six children. They are as follows: Robert Pettit, Omaha; S.P. Pettit, Omaha; George Pettit, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mrs. Lillie Noel, Decatur, Nebr., Hertha Pettit of Binkelman, Nebr. and Mrs. Ida Lautrup of Kennard, Nebr. There are also 21 grandchildren. Seven of the grandchildren will act as pallbearers.
