Services were Friday, July 12 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wisner for Glenn M. Broekemeier, 60 of Wisner who died July 9, 1991 at his home. Military graveside services were conducted by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Wisner at the Wisner Cemetery.

Glenn M. Broekemeier was born September 28, 1930 in Wisner. He married Beverly Lemke October 24, 1964 in Wisner.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wisner. He was a mason.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1982 and a grandson.

He is survived by a son, Larry Lemke of Norfolk: five daughters, Judy (Mrs. Dave) Borer of Lincoln, Gloria (Mrs. John) Buck of Lancaster, California; Nancy (Mrs. Roger) Plummer of Norfolk, Diana Lemke of Omaha, Mickey (Mrs. Allen) Greekel of West Point; three sisters, Melinda Means of Fremont, Berneta (Mrs. Art) Beck of Blair and Ardyce (Mrs. Russell) Zicht of Stanton; a brother, Merlin of Norfolk and five grandchildren.

Kuzelka Funeral Home in Wisner was in charge of arrangements.
