Services For Mrs. Grover Wilkins Were Thursday

Mrs. Grover Wilkins passed away Sunday evening, October 1 at the Dodge County Community hospital in Fremont, Nebraska where she had been a patient for four weeks.

She was born December 24,1894 on a farm northwest of Kennard and lived her entire life in Washington County.

She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Roland Smith of Ft. Calhoun; one brother, Harold Schafer of Little Rock, Arkansas; six children; William of Lincoln, Robert of Arlington, Eva (Mrs. Norman Pearson) of Wahoo, Ruth (Mrs. Gene Kruger) of Elkhorn, Joe of Fremont, and Gene of Ennis, Montana.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Schafer, and a son, Jamie.

Funeral services were held at two o’clock on Thursday, October 5 at the Arlington Community Church with Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in Blair Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the Arlington Community Church and the Arlington Rescue Squad.
