Elizabeth J. Pfeiffer, 79

Blair native Elizabeth J. Pfeiffer, 79, of Martinez, Ga. died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Evans, Ga.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m.

Elizabeth J. (Robinson) Pfeiffer was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Blair to C.N. Robinson, Jr. and Stella (Gustin) Robinson. She graduated from Blair High School in 1944 and attended the University of Nebraska.

In 1948, she married Daniel Farrens; they divorced in 1963.

In 1965, she married William Pfeiffer, also a Blair native and former school mate. The couple then moved to Georgia where Mr. Pfeiffer was employed.

Mrs. Pfeiffer’s hobbies included cross-stitching and raising flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, of Martinez, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Nick Amato of Charlotte, N.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Beth Farrens of Snellville, Ga.; step-children, William and Frances Pfeiffer III, Memphis, Tenn., Lynn and Brad Clear, South Bend, Ind., Doris and Steve Hurt, Niles, Mich.; brother and sister-in-law, C.N. “Bud” and Janice Robinson of Blair; sisters-in-aw, Helen and Louise Pfeiffer, and brother-in-law, Henry Pfeiffer, all of Blair; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Lila Macrides.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church or to the donor’s choice.

SERVICES 10:30 am, Thurs. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Burial Blair Cemetery.

VISITATION starts 1 pm Wed with family receiving friends from 6-8pm. Memorials to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church of your choice.
