Former Arlington Resident Dies In California

Word was received by friends of the death of Mrs. Elsie Pfeiffer of Pasadena, Calif., on July 13, 1961. Services were held for her July 15 at 1:00 p.m. in Memory Chapel in Pasadena. Dr. T.F. Rutldege Beal of the First Congregational Church at Pasadena officiated, with Carolyn Osmundson, organist. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery at 10:30 o’clock Monday. Mrs. Pfeiffer was a native Nebraskan and lived in Arlington for many years until after the death of her husband, G.I. Pfeiffer, when she moved to Pasadena, Calif., to be near her son, Robert Miller. She was a member of the Congregational Church at Arlington and a member of Sarepta Chapter No. 4, Order of the Eastern Star.
