GRACE I. DWORZAK, 90
Funeral services for Grace I. Dworzak, age 90, of rural Blair, who died Friday, September 14, 1990 at Memorial Community Hospital were held Monday, September 17 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, with burial in the Newton Union Cemetery, at Newton, Iowa.
Grace I. McPherren was born on March 29, 1900 at Anita, Iowa to Burt and Blanche “McCue” McPherren. She graduated from Anita High School.
On November 27, 1941 she married Edward Dworzak in Bethany, Missouri. They moved to Omaha in 1945 and in 1967 to rural Blair, Nebraska.
For many years she raced thoroughbreds in Nebraska. She was a member of the Nebraska Horseman Association.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; one son, Don, Thornton, Colorado; one daughter, Bonnie McKain, Yakima, Washington; two grandchildren, Michele Dann and Heather McKain; one great-grandson, Devan Dann; one brother, Marvin McPherren, Clear Lake, Iowa; and one sister, Beverly Rempter of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
