Reno W. Pfeil, 70

Reno W. Pfeil, 70, of Elkhorn, died Sept. 8, 2004, due to complications from brain cancer.

A memorial service was held Sept. 13 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.

Reno William Pfeil was born Sept. 23, 1933, in Neligh to William and Agnes Pfeil.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Belle; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Jo and Brad Best of Creighton; son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Kristine Pfeil of Blair; mother, Agnes Pfeil of Wayne; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Paul Koplin of Lincoln; and four granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his father, and an infant sister, Rhea Romaine Pfeil.

Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn was in charge of arrangements.
