Roland Phillips Dies Sunday In Texas

Roland B. Phillips, 66 years of age, died Sunday following three weeks of hospitalization in Austin, Texas.

He formerly served in Washington County as a Soil Conservation Technician from 1936-38 and married Margaret Flynn, who survives him in Bastrop, Texas. Also surviving are three sons and two daughters.

Margaret Flynn is a sister of Adrian, Thomas and Eugene Flynn and Mrs. Dick Lippincott, all of Blair.

Services will be held Friday, December 15, at 11 a.m., at the Methodist Church in Bastrop.
