Marianna Caruso, 75, of Fort Calhoun, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in Fort Calhoun.

Visitation is from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec 24, at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Omaha.

Marianna Caruso was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Axtell, Kan. She previously lived in Omaha. She was a member of the FOP in Omaha; the Presbyterian Women’s Club, and American Legion Post No. 348 Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Isabel Caruso of Fort Calhoun; Terry and Lynne Caruso of Tecumseh; and Steve Caruso of Fort Calhoun; sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and John Loughran of Ralston; brother, Leonard Kirk of Omaha; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, in October 1996; and a son, Bobby Caruso.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
