Mrs. Delpha Case passed away Thursday, April 4th, at the Blair Community Hospital, at the age of 77, after a lingering illness.

Miss Delpha Aletha Ingram was born January 7, 1886 at Edgar Springs, Missouri and taught at a country school there for six years before her marriage to Mr. Henry Thurman Case on December 10, 1911. To this union six children were born. In 1926 she moved with her family to the Herman Community. Mrs. Case was a member of the Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies Guild.

Mrs. Case’s husband, Thurman, and one son, Ray, preceded her in death. Her five surviving children are: Edward of Herman, Alphus of Oakland, California, Mrs. Howard Bilderback (Alma) of Ft. Calhoun, Mrs. Granville Dorn, (Zelma) of Tekamah, and Howard of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by one brother, Ed Ingram, of Edgar Springs; two sisters, Ella Evans of Canoga Park, California and Lizzie Lloyd of Maples, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Percy Bruns had charge of the services which were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Herman Baptist Church. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery with the Campbell Mortuary in charge.

Pallbearers were Messrs Howard Fink, George Heinssen, Clifford West, Melvin West, William Peck and Walter Kruse.

Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Mrs. Henry Case, 77 years of age, who died Thursday at Memorial Community Hospital.

The services were held at the Herman Baptist Church with interment in the Herman Cemetery.

Mrs. Delpha Aletha Case was born Jan. 7, 1886 at Edgar Springs, Mo.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; children, Walter E. Case of Herman, Alphus Case of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Howard Bilderbeck (Alma) of Fort Calhoun, Mrs. Granville Dorn (Zelma) of Tekamah, Howard Case, Las Vegas, Nevada and Richard Lee Case of Lyons; brother, Ed Ingram, of Missouri; sisters, Mrs. Ella Evans, of California; and Mrs. Lizzie Floyd of Missouri.

The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
