#2-April 7, 1898- The Pilot- Abrilla Eliza Blaco

Our little town was thrown into deep mourning today by the news of the death of Mrs. Richard Blaco, who died Sunday at three o’clock, for she was loved by all who knew her. A greater loss can no man have than the one Mr. Blaco is called upon to bear. Ye scribe has been acquainted with Mrs. Blaco ever since she moved on the farm, then a wild and desolate place but now a model home. She has been a kind neighbor and an affectionate mother and wife. She leaves a husband, four daughters and a son to mourn her death.
