Funeral services will be Saturday, March 27, at 11 a.m. at the Methodist Church in Blair for Florence Chamberlin, 72, who died March 23, 1982, at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dunlap, Iowa.

Florence Gladys Chamberlin was born in Dunlap, Iowa, on December 21, 1909, to Charles and Emma Summerfield Detwiler. She married Virgil Chamberlin in 1927, in Dunlap.

She was a cook at Lacy’s Café.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one son.

She is survived by her husband Virgil; two daughters, Wanda Holliday, Rockford, Illinois; and Linda Tyson, Loves Park, Illinois; and one son, Lloyd Chamberlin, Summer, Washington. Seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille Teneyck, Valley, Nebraska; and Goldie Detwiler, Manning, Iowa, also survive her.
